"This will be hanging over the crib of my daughter, Chloe, when she arrives at the end of August. I had been looking for kitsune art and folk tales for her for weeks before coming across this piece. My thanks for creating a beautiful piece."

"Guess what arrived and is up on the wall? Of course I will leave the painting in the plastic sleeve until I get the extra $$$ for a nice matting and framing job. Thanks again for the fantastic art! Jiraiya even helped me open the package... actually he supervised wondering if it was something for him."

"The Looking Glass Through Alex

The darkness it shone like a beacon that day to an otherwise dimly lit world. Too long had we gone on in our mundane drudgeries, paying bills, saying hello to neighbors we didn't know (nor did we care to), putting on pants every day and the like. Sure, a few had escaped here and there, the greats: Baum, Lewis, Carroll; hell, they'd even taken some of us with them along the way. I was one of them. I hitched a ride with each one of these men in time. Generations of my cyclical life spent in each of their worlds played out in my mind like the memory they'd so vividly relayed. I knew each of their characters so well their stories never ended with the last pages of the book. The land was never limited to the trees forming the paper. It was real to me. As real as any other memory I could never touch again.

As an adolescent, I realized I was different. Others read these stories and most enjoyed them. That's all they were, though. Stories. They didn't "see" them. They didn't "remember". I even began to "remember" things I hadn't read. I wrote them. I wrote them so fast I couldn't even read them until I was done. Then I could remember them too. I withdrew. Still, I couldn't take others with me.

Then one day, sitting at home taking a break from my writing I stumbled upon the most amazing dark and twisted archetypical picture of the Mad Hatter from Carroll's land he had taken me to years before. (I thought I heard Tic Toc stumble behind me and I all but lost my grip on Aslan's mane). Surely it is a fluke, I thought to myself. For, what sort of beautiful mind could perfectly capture the character so well? The feeling? I soon learned This magician did this with every piece. Taking you to the character, to the feeling, to the moment. The fantastical may live now in the hearts of those that could not before let it in. All because a darkness shone on a day that should've been bright. Perhaps it was a momentary eclipse, a cloud passing the sun. I imagine it was something more, as that newborn baby girl glanced across to the dark mirror the day her world began that March 10th and saw the most beautiful sight ever to be viewed: the slightly twisted image of a darkly skewed girl."

"Thank you again for your lovely cobalt Drink Me Bottle. It stands on my antique white entertainment center, next to my Alice (full figure) candle snuffer. They compliment each other perfectly. They are placed next to the TV, so the bottle may be held by our grandchildren & their friends. They are intrigued."
